Merkle Tree: Building Block of the Trustless Web

An intermediate talk proposed by Erin Freakin' Swenson-Healey

Title: _Merkle Tree: Building Block of the Trustless Web_ Bio: <you already have this> Abstract: Merkle tree is a tree in which every non-leaf node is labelled with the cryptographic hash of the labels or values (in case of leaves) of its child nodes. This presentation walks through a reference implementation and demonstrates a few real-world uses from P2P and Cryptoland, including PDP (proof of data posession) and PoS (proof-of-space) schemes, trustless file sharing (Bittorrent), and incremental build systems.
